ITF World Cup 2026
Spain, Benidorm September 28 - October 4 Competitors and coaches of several clubs of ITF-Belgium travelled to Benidorm for the ITF World Cup, to participate in tul, sparring, power breaking, special techniques, pre-arranged free sparring and in the adapted competition. Monday September 28th was a long day of registration, weigh-in and coach meeting. The actual competition started a day later, September 29th, after the opening ceremony, and ended on Saturday October 3rd. The first medal of the championship was for Tristan Hunt (Hwarang): silver in senior male coloured belts special techniques. More medals: Imad El Ammari: bronze sparring advanced senior male coloured belts -77kg Adelina-Larisa Ciobanu: bronze sparring advanced senior female coloured belts -57kg Nicolas Vertroost: bronze tul advanced senior I° degree Adelina-Larisa Ciobanu: gold tul advanced senior female 4-3 kup Irina Hauser: bronze tul advanced senior female 4-3 kup Adelina-Larisa Ciobanu: silver advanced senior female

ITF Congress Meeting 2026
Benidorm, Monday September 28th GrandMaster Frank Vanberghen and Master Annick Van Driessche represented Belgium at the ITF Congress Meeting. Master Virginia Dionisi also attended the meeting, as member of the ITF Technical Committee.

Lokeren, Sunday 20th 2026 During this year's second dan gradings ITF-Belgium, two candidates promoted to a higher degree: Tabitha Van Lierde (Ge-Baek): III° degree Aeneas Bolle (Ge-Baek): I° degree Congratulations to both newly promoted members.

ITF-Belgium hosts dan gradings
Over the last years grandMaster Frank Vanberghen has been examinator for numerous international dan gradings, both abroad and in Belgium. When in Belgium place for the events is the dojang of Ge-Baek, in Lokeren. Also this Saturday August 22nd 2026. Nicolas Fagon, ITF France, is presenting himself for grading VI° degree.
