National Instructors Course
The yearly ITF-Belgium National Instructors Course (NIC), open to all instructors ITF-Belgium, took place in Waasmunster, Sunday June 7th. On the program in this year’s edition: all 24 patterns, with room for questions and discussion, and a session Q&A.

Dragon Cup 2026
The second Dragon Cup in Ghent too place on Sunday May 10th, in Tolhuis Ghent. It was yet another splendid edition with competition for all ages and grades, in all disciplines of ITF Taekwon-Do. For all results: click here.

National Umpire Course
The ITF-Belgium TUIC organized 2 NUC’s (National Umpire Courses) on April 25th: a session for beginners in the morning, and advanced course in the afternoon. The sessions took place in Lokeren.

European Championships 2026
The 2026 European Championships (Maribor, Slovenia 12-19 April) were a succes for ITF-Belgium. Besides very strong performances of all atlethes, some 4th and 5th places, ITF-Belgium won 2 bronze medals in team events: senior and junior pre-arranged free sparring. Both the senior team, with Andreea Musca and Tomas Chacon Torrealba as the junior team, Lara and Helin Capa, were on the podium after some impressive performances. Congratulations to all competitors and coaches!

Dangradings ITF-Belgium
In the first part of 2026, ITF-Belgium hosted 3 dan gradings in Lokeren. The first one took place Sunday February 22nd, gradings for I°, II° and III° degree, with 14 candidates being promoted to a higher degree in front of the grading panel ITF-Belgium. The next gradings for black belts will take place September 20th. On March 14th Sb. Andreea Musca was promoted by GrandMaster Frank Vanberghen to VI° degree. Saturday May 16th the dojang of Ge-Baek was host for the promotion of 2 Masters to VIII° degree, guided by GrandMasters Frank Vanberghen and Lan Ung Kim: Master Virginia and Master Vladimir Machota (Czech Republic, the first blind Master in ITF). Congratulations to all!
