On the 22nd of November 2025 the 35th anniversary of ITF-Belgium was celebrated with a gala-event. Instructors and members of the affiliated schools of the belgian federation gathered in Lennik for an evening with good food, nice people, some speeches and a remarkable atmosphere.
ITF-Belgium was established in 1990 by pioneer, now GrandMaster, Frank Vanberghen. It all started with one club in Ghent, Juche.
Over 35 years a lot happened, with growth in number of clubs and members, the organization of many national AND international events, European and World Champions and medal winners, the birth of many black belts etc. Today the federation even counts a GrandManster and 3 Masters, which is unique for a small country and federation.
