This year on the Elite Taekwon-Do Seminar in La Nucia, Spain some members ITF-Belgium were present. One of them, Faith Wojzsnis, made a report:
“This year, the Taekwon-Do Elite training and competition in La Nucia Spain took place from January 9th to 11th at the Top Ten Academy Combat Sports Center. This brand-new training center is fully equipped for martial arts practice. The training consisted of three days of training with no fewer than 300 participants and around 15 instructors from 21 different countries, who could choose from sparring with Master Tomaz Barada over tul with Master Stephen Ryan and inclusion with Masters John Mcilvaney and Pat Barry. Several Masters and Grand Masters made time to share their knowledge with the participants, helping them reach the next level in various disciplines of Taekwon-Do.
There was also a sparring and tul tournament where Team Europe took on Team South America, which Team Europe won “easily” with 24-4.
There were many highlights, but for me personally, winning the squad jump competition was, of course, the most rewarding. It was a very educational experience there in Spain and definitely left me wanting more.”
