The last ITF-Belgium activity of 2020 was an online course about Do, conducted by Master Andreu Martinez, 7th degree from Spain (Barcelona), member of the ITF Do & Ethics Committee.
The conference took 2 hours. Master Martinez informed the participants about the student’s oath, explained the tenets of Taekwon-Do, talked about the origin and meaning of the word Do, extrapolated the Do to our society and had some stories about some of the patterns in Taekwon-Do. At the end there was the time for questions and remarks.
Master Martinez explained everything very well in a calm and very enjoyable way. The participants enjoyed it a lot, and are eager now to get the possibility to take part in an International Do Course as soon as we’re able to gather and travel again.
It was great seeing all of these participants, not only from Belgium, but also from the Netherlands, France, Spain, Austria, Ireland and Argentina. We were honoured with the presence of 2 GrandMasters, GrandMaster Frank Vanberghen (Belgium) and GrandMaster James Tjin-a-Ton (The Netherlands) and 4 Masters (Masters Eddy Van Damme, Terry Donnelly, Lylian Doulay and Annick Van Driessche).
