ITF-Belgium was represented by 4 members at the championship. As Vice-president of AETF Master Virginia Dionisi was present as representant of the AETF Board. Benito Martinez was on the European Cup as part of the umpire team. Laura Mouret and Kaloyan Hristov were competing, defending the belgian colours.
On Friday June 10th Laura was able to fight her way to the final in sparring -68kg, obtaining the silver medal.
This eTournament in tul & pre-arranged free sparring was open to all ITF members, so the number of participants and participating countries & clubs was big and from all around the ITF world: Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Ethiopia, Finland, Jamaica, Malaysia, Scotland, USA, Uruguay and also one of the affiliated schools of ITF-Belgium: Taekwon-Do Club Gent. A lot of famous competitors participated, and a lot of reknown clubs.
The participants of Taekwon-Do Club Gent performed on a very high level, and this resulted in a lot of medals. Congratulations to competitors and instructors.
