ITF e-World Championships

The e-World Championships have come to an end. The national team members did well, showed great performances and a high level, They showed to be ready for the upcoming European Championships in Spain, in November. For some it was a first participation at the highest level, and it looks very promising for the future.

Many thanks to the coaches and to the belgian umpire, Master Eddy, for the hard work done.

1st ITF eWorld Championships

As alternative for the ITF World Championships, postponed with 2 years, the first ITF eWorld Championships in tul, teamtul and pre-arranged free sparring for national teams will be organized September 4th-19th. The national coaches selected a team, which is practising hard at this moment in time:

  • Andreea Musca: tul IV-VI degree, pre-arranged free sparring
  • Esther Meulemeester: tul III degree
  • Amber Dellaert: tul III degree
  • Laura Mouret: tul II degree, pre-arranged free sparring
  • Juan Martinez: tul I degree
  • Maximilien Boyens: tul I degree
  • Tabitha Van Lierde: tul junior II degree, junior pre-arranged free sparring
  • Lisa Ghijsens: tul junior I degree, junior pre-arranged free sparring

ITF Taekwon-Do e-World Championships 2021: announcement of the team

The ITF e-World Championships, an alternative on the WC that were postponed to 2023, will take place between 4 and 19 September 2021 in the disciplines tul, teamtul and pre-arranged free sparring. The national coaches announced the selection on May 12th. ITF-Belgium is proud to announce the names of the team members:

Online championship tul for selection national team

April 5th-17th

The national coaches organized, together with the ITF-Belgium Tournament & Umpire Committee, an online championship in tul for candidates for the national team. This will be one of the criteria, together with e.g. the online training sessions of the last couple of months, for selection for the e-World Championships (September) and the European Championships (hopefully to be organized in November).

New coaches national team appointed

ITF-Belgium and the belgian national team have some new coaches. After sending in their candidatures, they have been appointed by the board:

  • Coach tul, teamtul, pre-arranged sparring: Master Virginia Dionisi
  • Assistant-coach tul, teamtul, pre-arranged sparring: Andreea Musca
  • Coach sparring: Erik Van Hoeck
  • Assistant-coach sparring: Nicolas Taylor
  • Assistant-coach power breaking: Hans Van Lierde

Congratulations to all of them. We’re sure they will do a great job.

Some positions are still vacant: coach and assistant-coach special techniques and coach power breaking. If you believe you could be an asset to the team, don’t hesitate to send your CV and motivational letter in within the next couple of weeks.

The coaches can start working towards the 2021 World and European Championships!
